John, if you’re just feigning embarrasment, there’s no need. The cartoons have all been great! I’ve literally laughed out loud at every on!. ...Hmmm, *laughed out loud*. I wish there was some way to abreviate that.

I think there was two similar strips. One of a snake with a peg body, and another with the very same pirate with peg extremeties galore.

I don’t think I ever heard anybody use the word Nosh when I was in school. But then I got older and my experiences broadened and I read the book everyone else did about the English language, etc. Finally I get the cartoon and IT FEELS GOOD BABY!!!!

Ryan, I just checked my Far Side book, and you’re right!  Although to my credit, my pirate is the one with the peg/hook extremities galore—Larson’s merely had a peg for a head.
