Oscar Preparedness

What follows is a list of the films nominated for major Academy Awards (picture, acting, directing, writing).  I’ve crossed off the ones I’ve seen.

I plan on seeing The Cooler and 21 Grams this week, and it will be the most films I’ve ever seen before Oscar Night.  Every year I tell myself that I’ll catch up on the nominated movies before the awards, and every year I fail to do that.

Youch, guess I’m in pretty rough shape for this year’s Oscars...let’s call it Code Orange. I’ve only seen six of ‘em. There are several on that list that I’d definitely like to see, though. Sigh.

the cooler sounded so promising but looks like shit in the trailer.

you should check out whale rider if you have time. i think it’s also been out the longest out of all the contenders you’ve listed.

Wow, I’ve only seen five of the films.  I haven’t even seen Pollock (2000) let alone Mystic River. 

Pretty bad, better luck next year.

I think I need to go and see more movies. I have only seen 3 of them! But I normally wait till things come out on DVD before I see them.
