patricia says:

Crazy! Ah, the power of the mass creative unconscious!

Either that, or all those bastards copied your clever idea.

Learning Daily is part of ‘Blogs Illustrated’. Where did that come from? ARGH! So many amazing illustrated blogs out there. Why, oh why, did I kill mine? And why didn’t I back it up? Now, that’s sorrow.

Eva says:

Whoa. This points to a MASSIVELY recurring common childhood trauma! It’s sad that parents/teachers are still focussing on parental divorce as major source for childhood trauma. All this time it’s been dropped ice-cream!
I think I’m starting to remember ice-cream incidents from my childhood now. =(

patricia says:

I don’t recall dropped ice cream cones (although I’m sure there must have been a few; I was a little porker as a kid); what I do remember vividly is lost balloons. Sob! It’s all coming back to me now.....

Kevin says:

That’s crazy. Lets all start a company! Patrica’s suggestion would make a nice company name. “Mass Creative Unconscious.” It’s available (http://www.netsol.com/).

thank you Robot Johnny !!!!

you have done a great public service in drawing attention to this issue, so that those of us who have suffered in silence know that, indeed, we are not alone !

Wow… I stopped looking at illos last week because they were all too sad so I didn’t get to see these.  How amazing that so many people had the same idea. As Eva said, this must be a massively recurring trauma.  Great illo by the way! His tears broke my heart!
