The hero, a troubled young man,
With a hard-on for all womankind,
Undresses young women “for art”
Once he learns to freeze time with his mind.
Disjointed and dare I say pompous,
(As films often are from such newbies)
I think the director just made this
Because he so loves naked boobies.

A fairy tale for grown-ups, with gore and blood and splatter,
In Franco’s Spain a magic world lays guarded by a Satyr.
This story of Ofelia, a kingdom’s long-lost daughter,
Is what I had expected from The Lady in the Water

A fun document’ry with kids
At times it’s quite touching and sad.
It made me remember my own days at camp
And the horrible times that I had.

Ulrich, who worked for the Stasi,
was hardly heroic. Or was he?

A big-budget monster-sized thriller,
That features a man-eating killer
Which tears through the town
Bringing all the folks down,
It’s like a Korean Godziller.

A samurai quite ineffectual,
Our man prefers things intellectual.
To keep kids from being illiterate,
He’ll take his adventure and fritter it.
There’s no time for vengeance and fighting
When children need help with their writing.
